Dulal Chandra Bhar’s Palm Candy ( Talmishri)

Palm Candy, also known as Talmishri, is a natural sweetener with a rich history dating back hundreds of years. It’s derived from the purest form of palm juice, a true gift of nature. Regular consumption of palm candy helps to heal several health problems, including cough, cold, sore throat, heartburn, urinary issues, etc.

We take pride in upholding an 80-year legacy originally established by the visionary entrepreneur Dulal Chandra Bhar. Our journey to produce the finest Palm Candy starts with a dedication to purity. Currently, we have two factories with state-of-the-art facilities in Kaikhali and Domjur, among others. The craftsmen at the factories follow our traditional process to make this wholesome sweetener.

The preparation of Palm candy begins with the collection of palm juice, processed without the use of any chemicals or artificial additives. We extract jaggery from date palms and use it as the raw material for making ‘Taal Mishri.’ The extraction of date palm syrup takes place between the months of March and April. Then the manufacturers carefully process the taal mishri following our traditional ritual, ensuring that it retains all its natural goodness. It takes approximately 8 to 9 days to transform this juice into the delectable Palm Candy we all love. This entire process has been perfected over decades and is the cornerstone of our commitment to providing you with the best.
